This elegant Syrah is finesse in a bottle. Refinement one can taste. Luminescent ruby color with complex yet integrated aromas of leather, tar, smoked meat and gunflint. Bright, spicy tart cherry flavors on entry, punctuated by a peppery edge. This is a fleshy, opulent wine with luscious aromas of blue fruit mixed with smokey earthtones, very much in a Northern Rhone style.

Our Grand Master Syrah is produce only in exceptional vintages and the fruit is picked from selected areas of our vineyards. In 2006, we made 180 cases of broodingly dense, purple colored wine. It shows abundant blackberry, cassis, and subtle smokey aromas, intermixed with sweet tannins. Stunningly complex and rich with great density and long finish.
